Individual solutions for web drying
After a wet process, like for instance hydroentangling impregnation or spray bonding, the nonwoven material needs to be dried again. For this purpose, Trützschler Nonwovens offers Omega-type drum dryers, multidrum dryers, as well as the innovative Streamliner.
Drum dryer
The drum dryer offers a high specific drying performance, compact design and high uniformity of drying. With high drying speeds (up to 1,500 m/min) it processes webs with a width of up to 7,000 mm.
Multi drum dryers are considered to be particularly efficient because air flows through the nonwoven from the top and bottom side. They are available in horizontal as well as vertical design.
Streamliner
The new dryer generation achieves specific evaporation capacities - and hereby productivity - going far beyond the commonly achieved values. It's main characteristics are:
- Optimized air guidance
- Uniform air guidance and temperature over the entire working width
- High evaporation capacity
- Significantly lower energy consumption - high cost savings
